Giveaways are used by authors and bloggers to increase the exposure of their books or blogs on social media. You can run a giveaway on your website or sites like Goodreads, Shelfari, BookLikes, LibraryThing. However, note that while your book is in the Amazon’s KDP Select program, you cannot run free e-book giveaways.
Tip #1: Always, make sure the freebie you are providing is related to your services or products. For example, for authors it could be your book, an Ipad, a subscription to a book magazine.
Tip #2: If you are giving away your book, write and send a note to your giveaway winners asking them to write a review.
Tip #3: While your book is free, list it on sites such as Noise Trade.
