    3. The Dublin Writers Conference

For all Irish fiction and non-fiction authors and not only: the 4th Dublin Writers Conference takes place this year from 22nd to 24th June.

The aim of the conference is to help authors improve their writing craft, learn how the industry works and how to prepare for publication. It also provides an opportunity for networking and a chance to meet agents and other experts.
This year, the expanded event features panels and workshops from a variety of authors with a theme of “Finding New Voices.”
The Algonkian Method workshop is the first time this American workshop for writers has been delivered in Ireland. It focuses on how your story can be summarised in new ways, to attract publishers and readers.
Also, Michael Russel, author of the acclaimed, City of Shadows, series will lead one-to-one feedback on Friday.
At the end of the conference, a prize will be awarded to assist one lucky author to self-publish. Give yourself a chance to be the one.
